Cover to cover

If she was a book, 

I would memorize

her table of contents.

I would read her cover 

to cover, hoping 

to find typos just so we both 

have a few things to work on,

because we are

 all unfinished.

Yes, we all need 

a little editing. 

We are always awaiting

 "that persons" approval.

We are all praying that they

 will tell us we make sense.

She doesn't always make

 sense to me,

but her imperfections are

 the things I love about her the most.
